254 reviews4.8This musical is magical! Seen it twice now and both times I got goosebumps….nobody could play Bob Marley better than Arinze Kene he has studied Bob’s voice and mannerisms and has them down to a T. The whole performance is vibrant and lively. Portraying not only a perfect portrayal of Bob’s life but also bringing the vibes of Jamaica to the London stage. I will be going to see it for a third time!
It was great but the fight in front of us runied the show upset me that it took to long for security to sort it out and nobody was dealing with it
An absolutely fabulous show which my two children and I thoroughly enjoyed. The singers and actors were all amazing; their voices electrifying! We left the show buzzing and sang the songs all the way home! Sitting 4 rows behind the audience members who were very disruptive, we could see that a few members of staff tried their best to encourage the ladies to keep the noise down and at this part of the show it was very difficult to hear the actors on the stage. Our hearts went out to the incredible actors, who continued with the upmost professionalism despite what must have been quite a distraction to them at the time. It was absolutely the right decision for management to stop the show until the ladies were removed. Well done for your bravery in doing so but in my opinion the show should have been stopped a little sooner so that those of us on the back rows could have enjoyed (and heard) the show a little better. Hats off, again, to all the actors who returned to the stage as if nothing had happened and performed their socks off! An absolutely fabulous show, thank you very much!
Absolutely fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed.
It was really good. Well done to those who were involved.
Amazing show! You sing, you cry, you laugh. 100% worth seeing. Incredible voices, it feels like you would be at the actual Bob Marley concert at some point.
Absolutely amazing show
What a show, what a cast, what an experience. Absolutely incredible. An emotive, moving and uplifting story which you felt in your bones. Michael Duke as Bob made me and my family feel like we were taken back in time and watching Bob for real. I can honestly say that this is the best show I’ve ever seen (and I’ve seen a lot). Everyone was up dancing at the end and I left on the biggest high. I’ll be coming to watch again before it ends!
Fantastic show. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The cast were amazing and would definitely see it again! We sat in the balcony - very steep steps, not good for the elderly/infirm or if you don’t like heights. I also found it a bit hot and stuffy.
Brilliant cast and my whole family had a great time. This is my second time watching this musical and I swear it gets better and better. My family could not stop talking about how great it was.
The musical coould have celebrated more of his music and told more of his life story.
A M A Z I N G … truly talented cast. Wonderfully uplifting show. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend to anyone.

Review: Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical (Lyric Theatre, West End)
With Bob and the Wailers blasting in my Marley headphones I make my way down to the Lyric Theatre for my latest outing to the West End. Entering the foyer into my stalls seat, the set is a sight to behold, booming speakers and flashes of light matching the tone of the music are a plenty.
